"AMENDMENT AND SUPPLEMENT TO THE REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE GRANTING OF FAMILY ALLOWANCES FOR CHILDREN UNDER THE FAMILY ALLOWANCES FOR CHILDREN ACT AND THE RULES FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION"

On 12 and 13 July the Center for Human Resource Development and Regional Initiatives organized the methodological seminar: " Amendment And Supplement To The Regulations Governing The Granting Of Family Allowances For Children Under The Family Allowances For Children Act And The Rules For Its Implementation ".

The seminar was intended for experts and social workers from the Social Assistance Directorate of the SAA having at least one year of experience, whose duties include granting of family allowances for children under the Family Allowances for Children Act and the Rules for Its Implementation.

The legal framework update that social workers need to be acquainted with will be presented and discussed within the methodological seminar, including the amendments to the Amendment and Supplement to the Family Allowances for Children Act (FACA) in force since the end of last year.

The aim of the seminar is the participants in this training to master their knowledge of the legal framework that governs the granting of family allowances for children, to top-up knowledge on the latest amendments and supplements to the legal framework in the field of family assistance under the Family Allowances for Children Act and the Rule for Implementation of FACA, improving the skills for applying this legal framework in the context of its amendments, upgrading the problem-solving skills in its implementation, etc.

The participants will get acquainted in detail with the types and procedures for granting monthly family allowances for raising a child, where in separate sessions will be discussed the monthly allowances for raising a child with or without the right to a survivor's pension from a deceased parent, the monthly allowances for raising a child with permanent disability and the provision of monthly assistance for raising a child under Art. 8e (FACA), where the child is a user of the personal assistance mechanism.

The participants will receive a certificate for completing the training in the approved by CHRDRI form.
