“Working With Foster Parents and Children in Foster Families - Evaluation and Examination of Applicants for Foster Families, Quality of Service "Foster Care"”

Seminar on topic: “Working With Foster Parents and Children in Foster Families - Evaluation and Examination of Applicants for Foster Families, Quality of Service "Foster Care"” is being conducted on June 5th and 6th 2018 at the Centre for Human Resource Development and Regional Initiatives. In the training participate seventeen social workers from Child Protection Departments from all over the country.

The seminar aims at deepening the knowledge of methods and approaches to work in the case of taking action on protection measures and in particular - accommodation in foster families. The participants have the opportunity to share personal experiences and to discuss specific cases from their practice.

The lecturers are Mrs. Detelina Ignatova - Head of Activities and Measures for Child Protection Department at the Child Protection Directorate at the Agency for Social Assistance and Mrs. Tsvetanka Bahchevdvudzhieva - Chief Expert of the Activities and Measures for Child Protection Department to the Agency for Social Assistance. They are specialists in the field of planning and realization of the foster care service.

Successfully completed participants will receive a certificate of participation according to an approved standard of the CHRDRI.
