CONTROL POWERS OF THE IA GLI UNDER THE PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES ACT

The Center for Human Resources Development and Regional Initiatives is holding a webinar on the topic: "Control powers of the GLI Executive Agency under the Persons with Disabilities Act." It will be held in videoconference form. " The training includes 30 participants, representatives of the GLI, 22 -26 June, 2020.

Tutor of the webinar is Mr. Nikolay Kotov, Chief Inspector in the Directorate Legal Provision of the Inspection Activity in IA GLI.

During the seminar, participants will have the opportunity to increase their knowledge on the obligations of enterprises arising from the Persons with Disabilities Act. During the practical sessions they will be able to develop their skills for application of the Internal rules for specialized inspections by the control bodies of the IA GLI for the application of the quota for the appointment of people with disabilities. The main topics that will be addressed during the seminar are practical and will allow participants to get acquainted in detail with: legal possibilities for exemption from the obligation to employ persons with permanent disabilities, according to a quota; implementation of alternative measures for employment of persons with permanent disabilities; terms and conditions for payment of compensation contributions under the Persons with Disabilities Act; application of the Internal rules for specialized inspections by the control bodies of the IA GLI for the application of the quota for the appointment of people with disabilities; the methodology for calculating the list and average list number of the personnel of the enterprises.

During the seminar, existing practices for the implementation of the Persons with Disabilities Act will be discussed.

The training is financed by Integrated Trainings for the Administration in Institutions, working on the Labour Market and in the Social Sphere BG05M9OP001-3.015 funded under HRD OP 2014-2020. Successfully completed participants will be awarded a certificate of participation according to a model established for the project.
