European Practices in Provision of Long-term Care Services

On 28, 29 and 30 September will be conducted a training on "Development and Reform of Social Services in the context of National Strategy for Long Term Care. European Practices in the Provision of Long Term Care Services". It will be attended by participants from the Regional Social Assistance Directorates of the Social Assistance Agency from Veliko Tarnovo, Vidin, Vratsa, Gabrovo, Gotse Delchev, Kazanlak, Karlovo, Kardzhaly, Kyustendil, Montana, Nova Zagora, Pazardzhik, Pleven, Razgrad, Rousse, Smolyan, Tran, and Haskovo who are involved in the implementation of policies, strategies and plans related to long term care.
During the seminar, participants will learn about the national strategic documents concerning the development and provision of long-term care services, will upgrade their knowledge on the development of long term care services in the Republic of Bulgaria, and will acquire new knowledge about practices for the provision of long-term care services at European level.
Lecturer of the seminar will be Mrs. Nikolina Ivanova, who is head of "Social services for adults" Department in the "Social Assistance" General Directorate of the Social Assistance Agency. Ms. Ivanova has a Master degree in Social Pedagogy, possesses a qualification in "Management of social services for children and families", and has extensive experience in conducting trainings for adults.

Successful graduates will receive certificates.
