Georgi Vanev is the new director of the Center for Human Resources Development and Regional Initiatives.

Georgi Vanev holds the position of Director of the Center for Human Resources Development and Regional Initiatives from February 5, 2025.

Mr. Vanev is a lawyer with extensive experience in public administration and project management. He holds a Master of Laws degree from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" and the University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev".

In his professional career, he has occupied a number of managerial and expert positions, including chief expert in Avtomagistrali EAD, in the Bulgarian Water Supply and Sewerage Holding EAD, as well as in the State Fund Agriculture.

In the period 2013-2014 he has acted as an advisor to the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works.
