GOOD PRACTICES IN THE CONTROL ACTIVITY OF THE ADMINISTRATION FOR PUBLIC HEALTH PROTECTION

A seminar on Good practices in the control avtivity of the administration for public health protection is held on the Distance Learning Platform of the Center for Human Resources Development and Regional Initiatives in the period 28^th April – 20^th  May, 2020. Lecturers are Dr. Gergana Geshanova and Dr. Masha Gavrailova. The seminar includes a total of 13 participants, representatives of the regional health inspectorates throughout the country.

The main goals of the seminar are to enhance and upgrade participants' knowledge about the health risk factors caused by unhealthy diet, low physical activity, use of tobacco and tobacco products and alcohol abuse. During their work in the virtual classroom, the students will increase their knowledge about the normative documents concerning the limitation of the health risk factors and the activity of the administrations, engaged in protection of the public health, as well as about the main moments in the procedure for establishing administrative violations, according to the requirements of the Child Protection Act and the Health Act.

The training is financed by Integrated Trainings for the Administration of Labour Market and Social Sphere Project BG05M9OP001-3.015 funded under HRD OP 2014-2020. Successfully completed participants will be awarded a certificate of participation according to a model established for the project.
