A new course in "Text Processing" begins in Stara Zagora
On November 4, 2024, the Center for Human Resources Development and Regional Initiatives (CHRDRI) in Stara Zagora launched a new course in "Text Processing." This course offers a great opportunity for anyone who wants to build strong skills for working in a modern administrative environment and start a career as a computer operator!
The course is structured to provide in-depth theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The training begins with essential topics such as health and safety at work, economics, and entrepreneurship. In the initial modules, participants will master the basics of business communication and office correspondence, as well as the principles of working with operating systems and information technologies, including care for computer equipment.
The main part of the course focuses on working with the most popular office software. Participants will learn to use:
- MS Word for professional text processing,
- MS Excel for creating and working with spreadsheets,
- MS PowerPoint for creating effective presentations.
Participants will also gain skills in using email, written communication, and the internet.
The course will last 40 days and includes 300 hours of training, ensuring an excellent balance between theory and practice. This program is part of the National Employment Action Plan and is aimed at unemployed individuals registered with the employment offices. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be able to confidently handle administrative documentation, apply computer technology in an office setting, and perform a variety of administrative tasks.
The course ends with a state exam in both theory and practice of the profession, and those who pass successfully will receive a Professional Qualification Certificate for the profession "Computer Operator," specializing in "Text Processing."
