The Main Principles of Applying the Legal Framework in the Field of Social Services – New Aspects, Coordination, Crisis Situations, Routine, and Risks

On November 7 and 8, 2024, a practicum titled "Main Principles of Applying the Legal Framework in the Field of Social Services – New Aspects, Coordination, Crisis Situations, Routine, and Risks" was held. It took place at the Regional Directorate – Pazardzhik of the Center for the Development of Human Resources and Regional Initiatives (CDHRRI) in an in-person format, spanning eight hours of training.

The training is intended for employees in managerial and expert positions, as well as social workers from the territorial structures of the Agency for Social Assistance (ASA), engaged in providing social services.

The purpose of the practicum is to enhance skills in complying with the Social Services Act according to the new aspects of the legal framework, to refine the application methods for the regulations and requirements of the Rules for the Implementation of the Social Services Act. The exchange of experiences on coordination in work processes, actions in crisis situations, and routine tasks related to the law and the rules for its implementation will also be key topics of the practicum.

The seminar will be led by Ms. Vanya Ivanova, Senior Expert at the "Social Services for Adults" department, Directorate General "Social Assistance," Central Administration of ASA.
