Seminar on: "Working with Candidates for Adoptive Parents and Adopted Children - Study and Evaluation of Candidates. Monitoring and Support of Children and Families in the Two-Year Post-Adoption Period"

Experts from the territorial structures of the Social Assistance Agency began training in CHRDRI - Sofia. The theme of the seminar is "Working with candidates for adoptive parents and adopted children - study and evaluation of candidates. Monitoring and support to children and families in the two-year post-adoption period." The training aims to deepen the knowledge of participants on completion of exploration and evaluation of suitability of candidates for adoptive parents. Trainees will improve their practical skills in implementing legislation concerning the institution of adoption. They will also acquire new knowledge on the support of children and adoptive parents in the post-adoption period - a report on monitoring of post-adoption period and referrals to social services. Upon successful completion participants will receive certificates.
