In September Starts a Training for Youth Mediators under the Programme "Activation of Inactive Persons"

On 7 September this year young persons up to 29 years having higher education and registered in the "Labour offices" to the Employment Agency began a training in the profession "Associate in social activities" in CHRDRI, which will be held within 10 days. The training is carried out under the National Programme "Activation of inactive persons" of MLSP.

Within the training program 22 participants will be taught in the professional profile "Youth mediator" to approaches and methods related to this profession. During the training will be discussed topics in the areas of legislation in the field of social work; basic legislative and programming documents defining the policy of the labor market; structures of the state in the field of social services; programmes and measures to implement social cooperation, and activation of inactive persons on the labor market.

The purpose of the training is to teach young people to the specifics of different target groups subject to social assistance and support and to effective approaches to mediation between unemployed persons and institutions. There will be also examined the main methods of working with a target group and certain psychological techniques used in counseling of unemployed people in risk groups.

After the training all successful trainees who have met all the requirements will receive a certificate of qualification.
