THE TRAINING COURSE FOR PROGRAMMERS FINISHED WITH THE DEVELOPMENT OF A WEBSITE
Development and presentation of a website was the assignment in the practical exam for the future programmers from the third Software training course for 2023. This was the final exam for the vocational training for acquiring a second degree of professional qualification for the profession of Programmer. The exam took place at CHRDRI this week and all 15 students who started the training last October took part in it.
The assignment consisted in developing a website project which the trainees received during their production practice at G. S. Rakovski Military Academy, partner of CHRDRI in the vocational training. The trainees had to develop a website for conducting a scientific conference under the title 20 Years for Bulgaria in NATO for the needs of the Academy. During this process the trainees applied the knowledge they have acquired during theory classes using HTML, CSS and JavaScript to create a user interface, PHP server programming language and MySQL database. They used Laravel framework with Eloquent ORM.
The programming courses are conducted according to the approved educational standard of the Ministry of Education and Science for acquiring the necessary knowledge, skills and competences for the profession. The duration of the training is 660 hours. Its successful completion is certified by a Certificate for acquiring the second degree of professional qualification for the profession of Programmer, specialty Software.
The vocational training is on the CHRDRI schedule of trainings for 2024 as well. Those wishing to join in need a registration with the employment offices, a completed secondary education and at least 16 years of age. Because of the rising interest in this training and the tough learning material, there is a preliminary test in Information Technology and English that the candidates have to pass with at least 50%.
