A SECOND QUALIFICATION DEGREE VOCATIONAL TRAINING IN PASTRY MANUFACTURING AT CHRDRI
A new course for professional qualification in Pastry Manufacturing started this week at the Center for Human Resources Development and Regional Initiatives. It will last for 83 days and will include a total of 660 academic hours, distributed in 226 hours of theory and 434 hours of practice. The vocational training is designed to prepare participants for the acquisition of a second degree of professional qualification in the field of confectionery.
The course program is well-structured and covers various aspects of the profession. With the general and sectoral professional training participants are introduced to health and safety at work, the basics of economics and entrepreneurship, organizational requirements in the labor process, ethical standards in communication, the use of information and communication technologies, teamwork, as well as food hygiene and safety. The specific professional training will be focused on the practical aspects of the profession. Participants will get acquainted with the raw materials and materials used for the pastry production, technological equipment, as well as the production technology itself. The center provides trainees with access to well-equipped classrooms and conditions for practical training in a real working environment.
This course is part of the National Employment Action Plan and is intended for unemployed persons registered in the labor offices. Graduates of the course will have the opportunity to work in the baker-pasrty production as cooks and as machine operators in this field.
