Today was Launched Another Training to Enhance Skills of Social Workers in the Profession

From 14 to 18 September will be conducted a training on "Social assistance to people and families." It will be attended by social workers with experience of over two years. They are selected from the "Social Assistance" Directorates' "Social protection" Departments in Lovech, Pazardzhik, Panagyurishte, September, Asenovgrad, Plovdiv, Maritsa, Parvomay, Rakovsky, Stambolijsky, and from the "People with disabilities and social services" Departments in Lovech, Lukovit, Pazardzhik, and Plovdiv.

During the training, participants will learn to apply the principles of modern social policy, contributing to the implementation of the deinstitutionalization process according to the current legislation, they will be able to solve effectively cases and to use residential services as a tool in their practice, they will be able to apply protection mechanisms in high-risk environment for execution of their duties and to carry out preventive work among vulnerable groups; they will be also able to create, store and record the relevant documentation and to use mechanisms for interaction with the institutions and civil society organizations and coordinate their work on a case.

The training will be held in blended form within 40 face to face hours in the training premises of the Center and 90 hours from the program will be implemented in the distance learning platform of CHRDRI.

After the training all participants who have met the requirements and passed the necessary exams will receive a certificate in the form of MES.
