Skills and Practices for Effective Team Communication

On 23 September was launched a seminar on "Crisis and Conflicts Management. Effective Team Communication", which was attended by senior management and expert staff from Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, Employment Agency, Social Assistance Agency, Ministry of Agriculture and Food, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Economics, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and state servants from regions "Vitosha" and "Krasno Selo" of Sofia Municipality.

During the two training days participants increased their knowledge about the nature, structure, functions, and varieties of conflicts and ways to manage them constructively. They were provided knowledge to enhance skills for effective business communication in conflict situations and improved a number of their communicative competences, such as observation, empathy, assertiveness, tolerance, listening skills, and skills for asking questions. They mastered the techniques and best practices for effective negotiations, mediation and arbitration, as well.

Lecturer of the training was Mr. Stoyko Ivanov, Professor of Educational Psychology at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski "and longtime lecturer in CHRDRI. 

Successful graduates will receive certificates.
